For people who don't want to fuss with a lot of setup when making coffee, the Mr. Coffee Brewing System is the answer. It allows you to brew a fast 8 ounce cup in less than one minute with no messes and very little cleanup, if any. And for all the skeptics out there, the coffee tastes great. It is as good as what we've made in any of our prior drip coffee makers but the effort is way less.

It uses Keurig K Cups and if you have never heard of them let me tell you that the design is pure genius. It's almost like the company listened to the main complaints people had with brewing coffee in their home and they solved them all. You can change flavors on each cup so everyone in the family can always have their favorite blend, no need to share an entire pot. Like I mentioned above, there is no setup at all. You simply put the K Cup in, add some water, press a button, and wait a minute or so. That's it. Brilliant!

This is the right machine for our family because we would never drink a whole pot of coffee. It would always end up getting dumped out after it sat for a while which seemed like such a waste. Now you just brew however many cups you want. It's very simple for anybody to use. You can also make hot cocoa and tea if you want.

The only downside I can see is the cost per cup is higher but this is because you are paying for a pre-measured cup of coffee. I don't mind this because it is much faster to make the coffee and I can just throw the K-Cup in the garbage when I'm done. Overall I'm very happy with the Mr Coffee single serve brewing system. Unless you are drinking multiple pots each day then you should give this machine a serious look. It seems to be just like the smallest Keurig coffee maker but costs a little less.
