Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome 12 Cup Coffeemaker

I bought my Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome 12 cup coffee maker a couple of months ago and so far I really like it. I am a big time coffee lover and used to own a much more expensive machine, which of course quit working on me. My first attempt at replacing it was with a very inexpensive model but it never brewed a good cup. The water wasn't hot enough and the taste was more like plastic than anything else. While I didn't want to buy a top of the line coffeemaker I decided to go for this one from Hamilton Beach.

I read some of the reviews on the Classic Chrome and thought it sounded great for the price. I looked around online but actually found it on sale at my local store. When I initially ran some vinegar through it to clean it out I could tell I made the right choice. The water was extremely hot which is just as I like it. It is also easy to program and start brewing with. My very first cup turned out great and I now enjoy my coffee every morning before work.

The biggest thing I like about it is it doesn't have that nasty plastic taste that the cheaper machines have. It is also a very compact coffee maker and it fits on my rather crowded counter. The looks are nice, very modern, and it matches my appliances well. The digital clock is easy to read and it looks like it will hold up to a lot of use. The programmable part works good but I rarely use this. It brews very fast without you programming it and the coffee stays hot for a long time. All in all I like it and recommend it, even if your budget could afford a pricier machine. The Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome is really worth it.
