DeLonghi DCF212T Drip Coffeemaker with Convenient Front Access

Pretty decent coffeemaker for a low price

I just bought the Delonghi DCF212T 12 cup coffee maker and have a couple of thoughts about it. First, it is a very beautiful machine that is easy to fill, brew, and pour coffee from. It fits nicely under my cabinets and I don't have to pull it away from the wall to start the brewing process which is a bonus. I also like the fact that it comes with a permanent filter as I do not have to worry about it like my prior coffee makers.

Unlike some other reviews I read, I have not had any burning or dripping problems with this machine. I am happy with the flavor of the coffee it brews and it seems hot enough for me. Others had said that it wasn't hot enough but it is hot enough for my tastes. If you like your coffee scalding hot then this probably isn't the coffeemaker for you. The Delonghi DCF212T brews it fairly hot but not scalding. You can begin drinking as soon as you pour it out.

There is not reheating option with this coffee maker either. I find that I have to throw out coffee every day as I never drink the full 12 cups. It doesn't take that long to brew and I like my coffee fresh anyways but it would have been nice to have this feature. Overall it is a good machine and I can't argue with the price.
