The best small brewer we could find

We spent quite a bit of time looking at the various 4 to 5 cup coffee makers and decided to buy the Zojirushi Zutto. I started looking at the popular brands like Braun and Mr. Coffee but they just didn’t seem to have very high reviews from actual users. This machine stood out as most people liked it, especially for the price. The brand name doesn’t matter to me. The quality of the cup it brews is important, and that is where it shines.

The Zutto has a well thought out design. It is quite functional and looks nice sitting on my kitchen counter. We don’t even tuck it away when we aren’t using it. The coffee filter is actually located in the lid on the pot, which differs from the other drip coffeemakers we looked at. There is also a removable charcoal filter which keeps the water nice and clean. My first pot that I brewed was my favorite Green Mountain flavor and I have to say that the coffee tasted excellent. It really is the best I have had from an automatic drip coffee maker. The heating element also kept the pot nice and warm.

There weren’t any messes during pouring and cleaning it up afterwards was simple. The Zojirushi Zutto is a well designed, well built machine and is a lot better than anything else we saw in this class. We give it a big thumbs up and highly recommend it.

Simple to use and keeps your coffee warm for hours

After countless research we purchased the Zojirushi Fresh Brew coffee maker last month to replace our 6 year old Cuisinart basic model. We were searching for a quality made thermal carafe coffee machine at a very reasonable price. This one was the ultimate winner.

We definitely cannot come up with enough good comments to say about it. It is a very sleek stylish looking coffeemaker and fits perfectly on our counter with plently of room under our standard size cabinets. You do however have to move it to fill the water chamber and basket up, but this is not a problem to me.

This coffee maker is simple to use and program with the perfect amount of controls to make it easy. It brews a delicious cup of hot coffee that stays good and hot for quite some time. It will not keep it scorching hot like a model that has a hot plate but it does keep it hot enough with out continuing to cook and ultimately leaving you with burnt coffee. We recently left some coffee inside the pot while we were out and about. After returning home several hours later we found that the coffee was still very warm. While it was not warm enough to drink it still only took a minute in the microwave to warm it up to the temperature we enjoy. We were quite surprised with the amount of heat it retained for several hours.

This Zojirushi Fresh Brew thermal coffee maker is extremely easy to clean and does not have many parts to it. The basket where you place your filter and the grounds comes out, but so does the container that holds the basket. It lifts up so easy and you can quickly rinse it out. There are slots that help hold the container which have holes in them so the junk does not collect. The carafe lid works wonderfully and the second lid it is a nice feature.

This machine can make a good cup of coffee very fast. After owing it for a month we have not noticed any leakage or overflow issues. You can use the standard size 4 cone filters (I personally called the manufactuer before purchasing it to be certain). The filter does stick up a bit over the basket but it really does not make a difference and is not a problem. Overall this has been a great purchase for us and we greatly enjoy it.
