Excellent coffee and tea, recommended coffeemaker

I had been looking for a single serve coffee maker for quite some time. I knew I wanted a Keurig and I found their B77 coffee and tea brewing system which looked like a nice package. We knew we didn’t want a machine that brewed a large pot and the single serve machines are all the rave nowadays. I even found a great deal online for a bunch of K-cups to use, and boy are these simple to brew with. You just pop them in and add water. One minute later you are drinking your favorite flavor.

Another thing I like about this is it can make a glass of iced tea as well. It does a great job on hot chocolate too and it is very fast. I find that it is done in under a minute and there is no cleanup at all. The iced drink feature is really nice and a reason to spend more on this model over their other coffee makers.

We had some family visit from out of town and they fell in love with this machine. They are older folks and kinda set in their ways but they quickly came around to this rather new style of coffeemaker. After a few cups they were hooked and now want one for their house. Like me, they feel that the k-cups provide the perfect amount of flavor to any cup. It just seems to taste better when it comes from this Keurig.

Overall I have zero complaints about the B77 brewing system. It gives me a fast cup of coffee or tea, iced or hot. I love it and recommend it highly. My only complaint is the k-cups are a little expensive but you get what you pay for IMO.

Nice and simple coffee machine

I recently bought the Keurig B30 mini coffee maker after a lot of research. I wanted a single serve machine but wasn’t sure if I needed a more expensive model like the B70 or if this one would work. I like simplicity so I decided to go with the B30 and I’m glad I did. I really can’t believe how easy it is to brew my coffee each day. I just put some water in, put in the K Cup I want, and press the button. And since all I really need is my coffee to be nice and hot, this is the coffeemaker for me.

I really don’t like a lot of extra bells and whistles and I’m the only coffee drinker in my household. If you have more than one coffee lover under your roof you might want to upgrade to the next model. I had bought the Tassimo last year but the flavor just wasn’t right no matter what I tried. I heard a lot of good things about Keurig so I gave them a try. I can see why so many other reviews rave about them.

Overall I love the Keurig B30. It looks great, brews fast, and the coffee is just what I like. And the price is affordable too.

Very happy with this coffeemaker

The Keurig B40 coffee machine brews excellent, delicious coffee in no time at all. It has just as good a flavor as a brewed cup from a traditional drip coffee maker with less hassle. With a wide variety of pods or K-cups available you will find the flavor you need no matter what your favorite flavor is.

The only drawback I’ve seen is a very minor one. The 7.25 ounce serving size is great for a normal coffee cup but for a larger mug you will need to brew 2 k-cups. This isn’t much of a problem though because brewing is very fast on this machine. You won’t be waiting long at all.

The B-40 also looks great on your counter and is built very well. This is not surprising as Keurig has been building high quality coffee makers for a long time. Because the brew cycles are so fast you don’t need the timer option that is available on the more expensive B60 model. This machine also comes with an auto shut-off feature that will turn the coffee maker off 2 hours after your last brew was finished which is great if you happen to leave the house and forget to turn it off.

There are many other companies that sell compatible coffee pods that will work with Keurig coffeemakers. You can probably find them locally or buy them in bulk online, which is what I do. I just get a big variety pack and it lasts me for a few weeks. I get to sample many different types of coffee without the expense of going to my local coffee shop every day.

Overall I recommend it. It brews great coffee with no complaints.

The favorite item in my kitchen

I bought the Keurig B60 Special Edition coffee maker and came with the “My K-Cup” personal ground coffee filter. I tried many different things with it as soon as I unpacked it from the box. Overall the small pods work excellent but surprisingly the cheaper alternative of using regular ground coffee with the My K-Cup tastes great as well. The owner’s manual said to use around 2 tablespoons of ground coffee in the included filter and this was just right for our tastes. It was a strong enough brew yet not overbearing. I give this feature two thumbs up.

The single coffee machine also produces hot water for other beverages like tea and hot chocolate which works great for our kids. We even tried something out of the ordinary by placing a tea bag into the chamber and brewing it. Well, the flavor turned out great so we are now placing tea in the My K-Cup with success. I’m not suggesting others do this but just stating that it works for us.

In conclusion, this really is a versatile and fast brewing coffeemaker. We like that it brews the pods seemlessly, as we can swap them out for different flavors in no time. And the hot chocolate and tea is like icing on the cake. The My K-Cup will get some use in our family as we can save some money by using fresh coffee grounds instead of the more expensive pods. The number of options is mind blowing but the coffee maker is a fairly simple machine to operate. That is the problem with some of the other expensive coffee makers. You need to have a college degree just to operate them! That is not the case with this handy Keurig B60.

Best Single Cup Coffeemaker On The Market

I recently bought the Keurig B70 Gourmet single cup home coffee maker and simply could not be happier with it. This machine is very well designed, easy to operate, has great modern looks, and most importantly brews one great tasting cup of coffee. I am extremely impressed with how fast it actually brews a single cup of coffee. Plus you get a big selection of K Cups so your flavor choices are seemingly unlimited.

There is a vast selection of single cup coffee makers available today, with most utilizing pre-packaged pods for brewing each cup. One thing I did not want to do was buy a machine where I would be locked into the selection of only one manufacturer as this would limit my choices. This is the biggest area where Keurig outshines the competition, in my opinion.

Keurig now has the support of a whole host of gourmet coffee, tea, and cocoa companies as there currently are more than 140 different types pre packaged K-Cups from the likes of Green Mountain, Gloria Jean’s, Diedrich, Timothy’s, Tully’s, Van Houtte, Coffee People, Newman’s Own, Celestial Seasonings, Bigelow, and more. Plus with the popularity of Keurig coffeemaker today, you can find their K Cups online at very attractive prices.

And if that wasn’t enough, Keurig offers the My K-Cup reusable coffee filter which allows you to use your own ground coffee. This option gave me the additional level of comfort I needed to give this single cup brewer a try. Now that I have the B70 I don’t find myself using this option very often, but it is nice to just have the option should the need arise.

The pricing of these Keurig coffee brewers is quite reasonable for what you get which is tasty gourmet coffee at a fraction of the cost of buying it at your local coffee shop. I expect that this machine will pay for itself in just a couple months of regular use.

The only negative comment I have is that the My K-Cup reusable filter is not included with the sale of the B70, but rather is an optional accessory. It is really not that expensive of an option and I’m kinda surprised it isn’t included. Perhaps it will be in the future. Overall the Keurig coffee makers provide an excellent value and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in a single cup brewer for their own home.
