About six months ago I needed to find an espresso machine that was easy to brew with in an affordable price range. The fully automatic machines are way outta my budget so I decided to look at semi-automatic models. The Capresso Ultima seemed to fit what I needed and I'm glad I decided to try it. It really is an excellent value and it brews great tasting coffee and espresso.

This espresso maker is unlike others as it has a mechanism that doesn't require the typical tamping as other machines which really helps with the messes. I also like that it was a fraction of the price of other espresso and coffee makers yet it has most of the features. One thing I have noticed about it though is the frother will spill a small amount of water right before the full steam gets cranking. No big deal to me as I'm ready for it whenever I start frothing any milk but it did take a couple times to see what was going on. That's my only complaint and it's a minor one.

Our prior espresso machine would break every couple years, like clock work, and it was very difficult to clean after brewing with it. The Capresso Ultima is so easy to use that we find ourselves making more coffee drinks than we ever did before. I strongly recommend this product as I appreciate it more and more as time goes on.
